General Information

General Code of Conduct

FHARGA relies on students using shared computer spaces responsibly so that the venues remain safe, clean, secure, and suitable for teaching and learning.

  • Access to FHARGA venues is allowed only with your own student or staff card.
  • You must be able to produce your student or staff card on request.
  • Do not share your university credentials or use another person's identity.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the venues.
  • Conduct must remain orderly and considerate at all times.
  • Equipment may not be installed, connected, or removed without prior approval from the venue manager.
  • Sleeping, smoking, and vaping are not allowed in FHARGA venues.

If you do not comply with these conditions, FHARGA may remove you from the venue and revoke your access.

What Is FHARGA?

FHARGA is the Computer User Area (CUA) for the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences.

What Does FHARGA Stand For?

FHARGA is the Afrikaans acronym for the former name of the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences Computer User Area (FEMSCUA):

  • R: Rekenaar
  • G: Gebruikers
  • A: Area
